Festival Review

The comic success of the Gangrene Film Festival debut created pressure from attendees and participants to make the festival into a yearly event. The outcome of this pressure created The Gangrene Film Festival: Two Inches. Festival organizers upped the scale of the festival by renting out an indoor venue (the Davis High School auditorium). The venue seated 1000. On the night of the festival, organizers were pleasantly surprised to see about 100 attendees walk through the door. The festival was a free event and was only publicized through friends and family.
